A Lasting Legacy

Joe '67 and Terri '67 Gaffney met at Seattle University and remember many special times from their days as students there. They also remember the life lessons and values they learned, and decided to leave their legacy at Seattle University by making a bequest in their will.

Terri: "As students, we were both nurtured and our potential was developed through the education we received."

Both Joe and Terri have been leaders and volunteers at the university and live out the university's mission to serve others and give back to the community.

Joe: "Seattle University is educating people who will make this world better. We hope that many Seattle U alumni and friends will join us in becoming members of the Legacy Society."

You also may want to join the Legacy Society by including a bequest in your will for Seattle University. Simply use the language below:

"I give to Seattle University, a Washington non-profit corporation, headquartered in Seattle, Washington, the sum of $ (or % of my estate; or the property described herein) to be used for ________________ (specify the purpose)."
